Stores Controller

Our client are looking for a Stores Controller to join a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Lymington on a permanent basis.

The Stores Controller role will be working within a very busy and fast paced environment so the ability to hit the ground running is desirable as stock movement volumes are high, helping to ensure that stock is booked in, allocated to projects, booked out, controlled and protected, as well as taking the lead in stock takes.

Strong communication and organisational skills and are key for this role as you will be liaising with the Stores, Production and Purchasing teams as well as some suppliers to replenish stock when required. Our client are looking for someone with the drive and ability to take ownership of this role.

Stores Controller Main Duties:

• Checking in and booking in received goods, matching with correct purchase orders
•  Allocate stock to projects and ensure that they are not consumed by other projects - this is a key factor within the role
• Book goods out to projects
• Manage and control consumables, re-ordering when necessary
• Raise requisitions for factory items and consumables
• Take the lead on stock takes and keep inventory lists up to date via the site's stock control software

42 Hours per week - Day Shift

£32,000 - £33,500
