The Quality Inspection Engineer job itself where reporting to the General Manager, you will Co-ordinate the Quality office including first-line management for all staff. More specifically:
Controlling the inspection of all parts received from suppliers, utilising a number of manual and digital inspection and measuring devices and equipment.Initiating and investigating all non-conforming parts. Raising non-conformance reports and liaising with suppliers for corrective actions and countermeasures
To work with the R&D team regarding product development.
To work with Production to close off component quality issues.
Compilation of detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) for new products, new suppliers or parts manufactured by modified/repaired tooling.
Work shedule: 37.5 hours per week, 08.00 to 17.00 from Monday to Thursday (inclusive), and from 08.30 to 13.00 on Fridays, with a 16:00 finish every 4 weeks.
You will have
To be successful as Quality Inspection Engineer, you will ideally be an experienced Quality Engineer with a background of inspection an engineering-based manufacturing environment.
As a player/manager you’ll have supervisory management experience in a quality team.
Minimum qualifications: Ideally an Engineering or Quality qualification (HNC / HND / Degree).
Other qualifications, particularly QMS system-related, will be considered.
