We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Mechanical Estimator that can commute to Wakefield that has a Mechanical background to join a rapidly growing business.

The Package for this Mechanical Estimator role will closely reflect your level of experience and they’re happy to range anywhere from £55,000 – £65,000 which will include your base salary and a car package alongside your company pension.

Job Role:

• This is a hands-on role with a responsibility for the production of mechanical tenders for both pre-designed and design & construct projects along with estimating of small works.
• Receive client enquiries, organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably.
• Work alongside the wider procurement department to ensure detailed and correct tenders
• You will support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities.

Requirements:

• For this role, you need to have a history of estimating for mechanical services projects
• Able to read and understand tender drawings and specifications
• The ability to communicate with all stakeholders of a business to be able to build up the bigger picture and produce the most accurate estimates
• Comfortable working among a team yet equally as driven when working alone
• Mentor and support others.
• It's desirable if you're able to bring your own clients with you however it's not a necessity.
