Salary: £36K – £38K per annum PLUS performance-based bonus scheme

Bathroom Fitter – The Role:

We are a specialist home adaptations company working for the Elderly and Disabled throughout Essex. 

We are now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Bathroom Fitter to work on predominantly grant funded and private projects.

As our Multi Skilled Fitter you will assume responsibility for:

• Bathroom adaptation / Installation
• Any plumbing work as required
• Basic carpentry including hanging doors/widening doorways
• Good ceramic wall tiling and wall board
• Painting and decorating
• Basic plastering
• Floor latexing
• Vinyl floor (cap and cove) installation (not essential)
• Mastic
• Empathy, patience and great customer service skills

The successful applicant will have on-site support from a visiting Project Manager and administrative support from head office.

Bathroom Fitter – What we need from you:

You will be working with a vulnerable client base and as such the business is looking for someone with empathy, patience and great customer service skills.

Essential

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Bathroom adaption / Installation
• Previous proven plumbing experience
• Experience within a Carpentry environment
• Previous proven tiling and plastering experience
• Empathy, patience and great customer service skills

We would love it if you have previous experience installing Vinyl Flooring (cap and cove) however, this is not essential.
