Based in Sheffield, our client was founded over 30 years ago in the birth place of steel, They produce a large range of Moulds using the latest computer design programs which produce product specific to each customers requirement.

Job description

The role of CNC Miller programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:

⦁ Offline Programming Using Solid works
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.

The ideal candidate will:

⦁ Have proven experience of offline programming, setting and operating machines using solid works and Fanuc controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours Will be required, depending on the work load of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
