Description
- Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates smoothly
- Inspecting machinery to identify any repair or replacement needs
- Responding to breakdowns swiftly and effectively
- Working closely with the production team to maximise machine productivity
- Promoting and implementing continuous improvement activities
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Contributing to team efforts in meeting production targets
- Documenting maintenance work and reporting issues
Profile
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
