• Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates smoothly
• Inspecting machinery to identify any repair or replacement needs
• Responding to breakdowns swiftly and effectively
• Working closely with the production team to maximise machine productivity
• Promoting and implementing continuous improvement activities
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contributing to team efforts in meeting production targets
• Documenting maintenance work and reporting issues

Profile

A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering
• Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
