Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Mobile Licensed Aircraft Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Northallerton depot (with regular UK travel).

As a Mobile Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at RAF Leeming or any of the thirteen other sites.

Day to day, you’ll be responsible alongside a team of mechanical and avionic LAE’s for the generation and release to service of serviceable and safe aircraft in accordance with civilian legislation/regulation and in line with company approvals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services are provided as required to always meet and exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.
• Coordinating all Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) part 145 paperwork.

Skills and Qualifications:

• EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence
• Specific technical knowledge
• Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract
• Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military aviation environment
• Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required
• Driving Licence
• Knowledge of MOD Engineering procedures/documentation
