Fitters Mate

Manucomm Recruitment are currently looking for a Fitters Mate, Labourers mate to work for a successful engineering manufacturing company based out of Bridgwater.  

As the successful Lift Engineers Mate you will be joining a small family team and your day to day duties will include:
·Travelling away from home usually Monday to Friday helping an Engineer install lifts at various sites

To be considered for this exciting Fitters Mate role you will need the following experience:
·Be happy to stay away Monday to Friday
·Be happy carrying out basic engineering / labouring tasks
·Ideally have a driving licence (you need to be 21 to drive their works van)

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, happy with nights away, willing to learn and have an interest in Lift engineering.  A background of engineering/ fitting would be helpful.  Previous construction site experience is an advantage - (Labourers Green Card or a Blue Skills Card) and although my client is happy if you wish to continue as a Lift Installers Mate, they too are also happy if you would like to develop your career further.

This role is a Monday to Friday role. Long hours, can be up to 12 hour days, with the salary being circa £34k (including OT / Time away)  with the added benefits of 20 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays), pension and free onsite parking.  You will also be paid your accommodation and a subsistence
