Orion are partnered with our engineering client whose work is pivotal within some of the most highly regulated markets such as aerospace etc. Located in one of the most scenic areas in the south of England, the Project Manager opportunity is brand new for our client as a result of expansion and restructure. 

The Project Manager will look after engineering projects worth between circa £250'000 to £2,000,000 and will be supported by both the Engineering Director and a super knowledgeable support team to allow for the projects to be swiftly executed. 

As the Project Manager you will: 

• Planning Projects: This involves strategizing resource allocation, establishing timelines, and managing budgets effectively.
• Risk Mitigation: Identifying and addressing potential risks to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders and team members to influence support for project initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Contributing to the development and maintenance of company project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate to be considered for Project Manager: 

• 2 years working as a Project Engineer within an engineering and/or manufacturing environment 
• Sound knowledge of the life cycle of an engineering product
• Track record of successful delivery of projects to defined cost, time-scale and budget
• Degree in Engineering, or Science with subsequent Project Management qualification or experience

Other information: 

• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 12:00 
• Hovercraft and Shuttle Service paid for and organised by the company 
• Hybrid working available
