The Company:

Although part of a £300m turnover plc employing 2,500 staff my client is an exciting business unit with its own identity and a strong growth record. The business specialises in the design, installation and operation of major Renewables schemes including Renewable Heating, Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Lighting and Energy Storage.

The Role:

This is a hybrid role where working from home and flexible working is encouraged. 

As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer you will work closely with end user clients and the design team. 

Typical projects that you will be working on are large scale commercial renewable heating solutions such as air source, ground source and water source heat pumps.

You will prepare surveys, calculations and designs. You will provide technical support and support the team to deliver projects on time within budget and within company design protocols.

Your Experience:

Ideally you will be an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in designing commercial HVAC systems including renewable heating systems. You should have strong project management experience and excellent design skills with software such as Auto-cad, IES and associated MEP design software.
