Salary: £39,000 to £45,000

Cooper Lomaz are partnered with a leading construction equipment supplier based in Cambridgeshire to source an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for undertaking various workshop activities to ensure machines are effectively manufactured, maintained and prepared.
You will need to have a background in Mechanical Engineering and have proven experience of fitting and mechanical skills working with Hydraulics and / or Electrical Systems on heavy plant.

There will be an initial 3-month probation period, which upon completion you will be taken on permanently. Temp to Perm opportunity!

Key responsibilities:

As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will undertake workshop activities including:

  • Maintenance and overhaul of used heavy machines
  • Preparation of new machines
  • Performing planned inspections, maintenance and repairs of used machines
  • Undertake fitting work on new-build machines.
  • Maintain the proper condition of tools and workshop equipment.
  • Ensuring workshop, yard and wash-down bay areas are clean, tidy, secure and safe to work in at all times.


Required skills:

  • Experience working with Hydraulics and Heavy Plant Machinery
  • Proven Fitting and Mechanical skills
  • Qualification in Mechanical Engineering OR relevant commercial experience
  • Previous experience of working with heavy plant, preferably paving machines
