Description

• Performing mechanical assembly and fitting tasks as per instructions
• Checking and testing completed products to ensure quality and performance
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Regularly maintaining and servicing industrial equipment
• Working effectively as part of the engineering & manufacturing team
• Adhering to all company policies and health & safety regulations
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate team leader or manager

Profile

A successful Mechanical Fitter should have:

• An educational background in engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in using and maintaining industrial equipment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• A strong focus on safety and quality
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
