My client is a well established business working with niche products in a niche
industry are looking to expand following a recent acquisition. The manufacturing facilities are based within commutable distance from Leicester, Coalville, Nottingham. Derby. They are currently looking for a Skilled/Semi Skilled Mechanical Fitter to work both in their workshop.


The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

• Work from Engineering Drawings to build large industrial units
• Sub assembly as well as final assembly duties
• Use varying different hand tools and measuring equipment
• Testing units following re-assembly to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Working independently and as part of a team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Mechanical Fitter:

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler in an industrial environment
• If possible have completed an apprenticeship C&G/NVQ 3 (not essential)
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Ideally have some machining and/or welding experience (training offered)
• Experience with Overhead Crane (ideal, not essential)

The Package - Mechanical Fitter:

• Starting salary of between £14 to £16 per hour
• Potential Permanent opportunity
• Overtime available
• Free onsite parking
