Remit:

• As a Tool Maintenance Engineer you will be a vital member of the toolroom, working with the Toolroom Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all tool maintenance activities are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• This role would suit a time-served Tool Maintenance Engineer, however consideration will be given to driven individuals with a can-do attitude who can demonstrate a real desire for personal development and progression.

Role:

• As a Tool Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of injection mould tools on site, supporting moulding machine tonnage range 50-1700T.
• You must have experience as an apprentice served Toolmaker with good experience of working with injection mould tools.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the desire to learn and develop upon their skills as this position can offer growth, stability and security.
• As a Tool Maintenance Engineer you will ideally have good knowledge milling, lathes and grinding. Experience of Tool design is an advantage.
• This is an exciting position for a Tool Maintenance Engineer who is keen to join a company going through an expansion period where they can learn and develop their skills further

Experience Requirements:

• Engineering Qualification / Time Served Apprenticeship
• Experience repairing, maintaining and servicing complex injection moulding tools
• Ability to read and understand 2D drawings
• EDM experience will be an advantage.
• Computer literate with experience of using MS Excel, MS Word & Powerpoint.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, work on own initiative or within a tooling team.
• Process fault finding and rectification techniques.
• Flexible approach to working hours including weekends and shifts.
