Working for the Commercial UPS Division and Reporting to C-UPS Sales Manager

This is  Home Based but with Northwest / Midlands / East Yorkshire focus (to be defined)

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and develop the existing customer base using your own experience and strategy.

• Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

• Proactive development of new enquiries ensuring they are maximised, managed and processed accurately in a timely manner and to ensure all information collected is added to CRM so a quotation can be issued at later date.

• Discuss and review initial proposals with customers.

• Arrange meetings with relevant parties if technical or commercial review required.

• Monthly reporting of activities highlighting opportunities identified within the month + forecast/pipeline.

• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

• Assist with New Product Development projects.

• Attend, promote and represent the company at events/trade shows.

• Help with specific campaigns as identified by the Sales Manager.

Qualifications Experience

• Experience with the Standby Power Industry or similar industries such as switchgear would be advantageous.

• Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, sales executive or relevant role.

• Experience in customer support is a plus.

• Market Knowledge.

• Communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build rapport.

• Time Management and planning skills.
