Are you an experienced Build Estimator looking for a new opportunity?

A Build Estimator is required for a Main Contractor based near the Gateshead area. Our client is ideally looking for a Build Estimator with 5+ years experience, with the ability to work on projects up to £500k -15m. Their build team is all about working on building strong relationships with their clients.

A high percentage of their business is from repeat clients. The remaining typically comes from client referrals which speaks volumes for their client relationships.

You must have previous experience (5+ years) in Build Estimating. You will also hold a valid CSCS card Ideally, you will be self motivated, ambitious and career motivated to develop and progress.

Experience / Skills:

- Analysis of tender documents/contract terms and conditions
- Take offs and pricing from drawings
- Strong Build Estimating experience required for this role
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Costing/developing whole life cycle costs
- Developing sub-contract terms and conditions
- Developing a value proposition
- Developing tenders
- Obtaining prices and dealing with variations
- Attend site visits during tender stage
- Planning
- Producing product/service specifications
- Reading technical drawings
