Project Engineer              Carlow                  €45-55k+car

The role of Project Engineer is responsible for delivering projects from design through to construction. The successful applicant will be working closely with a Project Manager but with autonomy, where you will be applying your technical knowledge and skills to ensure all projects meet client cost, time and quality requirements.

Our client provides specialist services to some of the largest companies nationwide, offering a number of different avenues for an engineer to go down to progress and expand their skillset. This role will involve travel to client sites so a full driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered to client requirements
  • Generate contract programmes
  • Undertaking site surveys, preparing accurate works quotations for client approval
  • Compiling risk assessments and method statements to a high standard and fully compliant
  • Implement the Project Quality Control procedures.
  • Document control

Requirements

  • 3 Years+ commercial experience in a Mechanical / Electrical Project Engineering role
  • Certifications and Qualifications in a relevant subject
  • Experience within the water/wastewater sector highly desirable
  • Experience delivering projects from design through to commissioning
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Driving license
