Arden White is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Support Technician to provide invaluable support to our client's Quality and Production Teams.

What will I be doing?

• Keep numerous CNC machines, controlled by FMS (Fastems management system), running smoothly on a 24/7 basis across 3 shifts.
• Collaborate with the team in conducting new part programme prove-outs.
• Monitor tool life and take charge of tool change and resetting using Zoller tool measuring equipment.
• Assist load station operators.
• Review CMM reports
• Conduct TPM checks.
• Monitor machines' performance.
• Demonstrate fault-finding skills and recover FMS robotic applications.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A time-served apprenticeship, though not essential, with a strong machining background.
• A comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Proven experience in setting up and operating 4 and 5-axis machines with Fanuc controls.
• Extensive knowledge of cutting tools and familiarity with CNC tool-holding methods.
• Previous CNC milling experience would be advantageous.

You will work the following shift schedule: (Overtime also on offer)
 

• Monday to Thursday: 22:00 - 06:00
• Friday: 20:00 to 03:00
