Job Title: Milling Team Leader

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £18 per hour, overtime paid at 1.5x

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Friday: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM

As a pivotal figure in our manufacturing crew, you'll take charge of milling operations, guiding a team to meet production targets efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of milling machine operators to attain production objectives.
• Expertly program, set up, and operate milling machines with precision and speed.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot issues and conduct routine maintenance on milling machinery.
• Provide training to new team members on milling techniques and machine functions.
• Cultivate a positive workplace culture, fostering teamwork and enhancing productivity.
• Demonstrate dedication and readiness to exceed expectations when necessary.
• Lead by example, inspiring team members to strive for excellence.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in milling operations, coupled with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in programming milling machines, particularly with Fanuc and Hurco controls.
• Experience with 4th and 5th axis milling is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Fanuc robot systems is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
