TXM Recruit are working with a leading M&E company that was formed in 1947 in Shropshire and has remained a privately owned family business ever since.  With an unrivalled reputation within the building services sector, we offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical design, installation, and maintenance service across many sectors.

My client is looking to employee an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to initiate and deliver projects within the Midlands.

The role:

The position is site based where you will be required to manage projects of M&E value up to millions. Project locations are across the region, and you will be required to travel to all of these. You will ideally have a background in the electrical/building services industry and significant experience of project supervision and management roles. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential.

Based on site, duties will include:

• Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain, and delivery teams and management.
• Health & Safety management with support from DG QHSE manager
• Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
• Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
• Specification and ordering of materials.
• Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
• Management and briefing of installation personnel.
• Resolving installation and access issues.
• Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
• Programme and project planning
