Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, or Dual Skilled / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (with Mechanical bias) to join their team. Your duties will be to fix, repair, maintain, and service the manufacturing / production machinery on-site.
This is a permanent role, that would suit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) with experience of working in a manufacturing environment (see requirements below).
Shift: Day shift, 8.00am - 4.30pm (exact times to be confirmed) - Monday to Friday.
Salary: Up to £39,500 dependent on experience + Overtime
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Requirements:
- Experience of welding and fabrication (Essential)
- Experience in most of, or all of the following would be ideal; packing machines, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, gearboxes.
- Due to the location, you must be able to drive and have your own transport.
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / Equivalent), or Apprentice Trained in a relevant Engineering discipline
