A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our surveying clients based in the south east, with a regional office in the Midlands. Their industry is fast-paced and challenging, and requires resilient, hardworking people to deliver quality outcomes to their clients. They work collaboratively to achieve success and are developing innovative solutions to clients’ needs providing surveys in CAD, GIS and BIM modelling. They have been involved in projects such as, Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, HS2, Silvertown, British Library, Olympic Park, Gatwick Airport and Hinkley Point C. Hiring industry talent is at the heart of my clients strategy to become the number one supplier of Engineering and Utility services in the UK. Some of the services they provide is topographical, measured building land, utilities, drone, GPR & site engineering surveys. They are very proud of their supportive and close working environment that aids growth and opens doors to new opportunities as we continue to grow. Due to this continued growth, they are looking for experienced business development manager to join their south east Crawley office. 

Responsibility & Duties

  • Outreach and Sales to potential new clients (architects, surveyors, designers, construction professionals) by way of email, phone and in-person meetings
  • Strategizing social media and outbound marketing channels to attract new business alongside the business manager and marketing assistant Coordinating and updating our customer databases via our CRM system
  • Attending physical and online networking events
  • Client management and building successful relationships to retain repeat customers
  • Weekly team meetings / growth strategy contribution
  • Use Linkdin to generate leads & contact new client prospects

Experience & Qualification

  • 10+ Years of experience within a strategic sales position
  • Ideally a history of selling surveying services, or alternatively a network within the construction
  • industry of Tier 1 contractors or designers
  • Existing network of potential leads within the construction industry
  • Business development background with lead generation skills
  • Experience in the construction or surveying services industry ideal
