Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £37k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company who have a strong presence in the South of England. They are now on the market for a Water Treatment Engineer to join their established team. This role would suit a candidate who has extensive experience carrying L8 compliance duties and is flexible and client focused, ensuring all client needs are met to the highest standard. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Windsor, Slough, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford, Aldershot, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Newbury, Andover, Haslemere, Guildford, Winchester, Eastleigh.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have an engineering background, working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Knowledge / experience of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plant would be beneficial to the role.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to manage workload efficiently.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out the sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW.
" Carrying out chemical dosing
" Flushing of closed systems.
" Water sampling
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafes.
" CWST cleans and chlorinations.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system testing and analysis.
" Helping the equipment department with commissioning of water treatment equipment.
" Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Providing support and assistance to training new employees.
" Ensuring to complete onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.
