Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Project Commissioning Engineer with strong customer relation skills, commercial and contractual awareness, and the ability to install fire and security systems to a high standard. The successful candidate will work closely with our projects and office teams to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of fire and security systems across various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with projects and office teams once works have been awarded to ensure smooth project execution.

• Collaborate with project managers to assist with site setup and technical design aspects.

• Accompany sales teams on site visits to complete designs and assist in the development of programs of works.

• Commission fire and security systems in diverse environments, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.

• Assist with site toolbox talks to communicate project requirements and safety protocols.

• Work on building sites to oversee installation and commissioning activities.

• Coordinate with projects on additional works arising during the project lifecycle.

• Cultivate client and engineering relationships to foster trust and collaboration.

• Prepare with the project manager for the handover of completed sites.

• Conduct engineering appraisals to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Train apprentices to a high standard, imparting technical knowledge and skills effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in fire and security system installation and commissioning.

• Strong customer relation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

• Commercial and contractual awareness.

• Technical proficiency in installing and commissioning fire and security systems.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.

• Valid driver's licence.

• Willingness to work on building sites and travel to various locations as required.
