Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, Hampshire

Building Estimator, Hampshire

Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 negotiable

My client is a National and highly successful Construction, Property and Engineering Contractor and as a result of continued growth and success, currently require an Estimator / QS to on a permanent basis to be based from their offices in Portsmouth.

My client deliver a variety of construction and engineering projects ranging from small minor works to large complex projects up to £100m. They work across the Public and Private sectors and are multi-disciplined within Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural Engineering, as well as general building fabric construction.

This Estimator / QS position is building fabric / construction biased.

The Estimator will join an established commercial team consisting of planners, estimators and surveyors and play an important part in estimating additional works as determined outside of the framework contract, as well as planned major projects forthcoming. The works will be delivered by their internal delivery team as well external contractors and consultants.

Due to the nature of the works ranging across the construction and engineering sectors within framework, ideally we are seeking an Estimator with experience of, or happy to undertake Quantity Surveying duties within their position, or vice versa. My client operates as both a Principal and Sub Contractor dependant on the client, therefore candidates who have experience estimating and quantity surveying within a Tier 1 or 2 contractor is advantageous.

This is a very exciting position and offers great reward and remuneration as well as being part of a highly successful organisation.
