Position: Planning Engineer
Seeking a seasoned planning engineer eager for a stimulating career move. We’re offering a permanent full-time position with a salary ranging from £26k to £29k, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Determining optimal manufacturing processes.
- Providing precise instruction and documentation support to the production department.
- Managing and updating production schedules.
- Ensuring conveyance of essential customer information and quality requirements through shopfloor production documentation.
- Coordinating cycle times and shopfloor scheduling.
- Generating raw material procurement details.
- Utilizing the ERP system to compile departmental reports.
- Assisting with quotations.
- Offering technical support to various departments.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Apprenticeship training or Engineering HNC qualification.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
- Solid grasp of the Microsoft Package.
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience in a machine shop.
- Familiarity with Vantage/Epicor software.
- Experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
