Senior Quality Engineer

A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Quality department with the appointment of a Senior Quality Engineer.
As Senior Quality Engineer, you will ensure all quality requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and support management in the day to day running of quality elements, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining cost to enhance company performance and long-term development.
Working from their manufacturing facility in the Dudley area, the Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for:
*Leading of team of Quality Engineers & Quality Technicians
*Plastics experience is desirable
*Maintain IATF 16949 quality system requirements
*Apply Quality core tools to improve Customer satisfaction
*Maintain and monitor the SPC management system
*Create quality documentation including process flow charts, control plans and FMEA’s
*Deal with any customer concerns using 8D process
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND with relevant engineering/manufacturing experience.
You should be able demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in 8D, APQP, PPAP, PSW
