Electrical Design Engineer – EPLAN - Contract – Outside IR35 – 3 month rolling contract - £45hr

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer with EPLAN experience to join a successful special purpose machine manufacturer with a base in North Yorkshire.

Key aspects of the Electrical Design Engineer role include -

• Strong/current EPLAN knowledge
• Good knowledge of producing calculations
• Electrical Engineer will work from home after an initial bedding in period – the company is happy to contribute towards accommodation costs for the time spent at their offices
• Experienced in the innovative design of industrial automation in a manufacturing environment and the generation and verification of electrical design documents e.g. wiring diagrams, cable schedules, parts lists etc.
• Electrical Design Manager estimates there to be around 12 months work in total
• Interpretation of customer requirements and presentation of design solutions
• Knowledge of British and international standards relative to the design and installation of industrial automation systems.
• Experience of conducting assessments and generating technical documents in accordance with the Machinery Directive and other British and international standards
• This position will suit an innovator who is constantly looking for solutions that give maximum value.
• Preferably a ‘Time Served’ Electrical Engineer.
• Ideally HNC / HND or Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
