Commissioning Engineer 

On target earnings of £65,000 - £75,000 + fantastic benefits package

This role will include International travel as well as commute to the site in Rochdale. (some planned trips in 2024 include Belgium, Boston USA and Indonesia!)

The UK's largest independent crane and lifting equipment provider are expanding thier engineering team. My client are looking for any qualified engineers who have experience in electrical and mechanical commissioning or maintenance. They will look at any engineering background as they have a large budget for training which includes LEEA, electrical courses, specifc manufacturers courses and PLC courses.

The commissioning engineer will be travelling across the UK, Europe and Asia, commissioning and inspecting a variety of crane and lifting equipment. This role would suit an multi-skilled engineer who has commissioning experience and who is happy with travelling internationally when need be. In return you will be trained very well, paid very well (door to door pay and various bonus schemes) and have the support of a team of more than 60 engineers.

Commissioning Engineer Job Duties:

• Be responsible for commissioning, inspecting and testing various types of cranes, hoists and lifting equipment at clients site - this includes Davit, gantry, overhead and STS cranes.
• Travelling across the UK as well as internationally when needed.
• Ensuring site acceptance testing process and harbour acceptance
  testing process is completed.
• Ensure that all commissioning activities adhere to QHSE protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues arising during the commissioning process, applying problem-solving skills to optimize Crane system performance.
