Field Service Engineer 

£34,000 - £40,000 (On target earnings of £65,000 + fantastic benefits package)

Candidates will be covering the whole of the UK but must be happy to commute to the site in Rochdale when need be.

The UK's largest independent crane and lifting equipment provider are expanding thier engineering team. My client are looking for any qualified engineers who have experience in electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance and service. They will look at any engineering background as they have a large budget for training which includes LEEA, electrical courses, specifc manufacturers courses and many more.

The Service engineer will be going to clients sites across the country repairing, maintaining and inspecting a variety of crane and lifting equipment. This is a Monday to Friday days role which will involve a fair amount of travel with some stay away at times, and in return you will be trained well, paid well (door to door pay and various bonus schemes) and be part of a team of more than 60 engineers.

Service Engineer Job Duties:

• Be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining various types of cranes, hoists and lifting equipment at clients site.
• Travelling across the local region as well as further when needed with some overnights stays.
• Electrical work on 3 phase 415v ac motors, squirrel cage and wound rotor, contactor control circuits, 110/48-volt relay and contactor circuits, stop and reset circuits and some frequency speed/inverter control devices.
• Mechanical experience of medium to large drive couplings, brakes and reduction gearboxes.
• Fault finding and diagnostic skills.
