Yard Operative / Factory Labourer (within a manufacturing facility)
This is a LONG TERM Temporary role (circa 6 months). Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be working in the workshops, the yard and the stores/warehouse. You will be working within a small team responsible for:
- Kitting items ready for despatch to site
- Checking and booking items into storage
- Helping to load and unload deliveries
- General labouring
- Keeping the workshop and yard tidy
- You may be asked to help with general day-to-day maintenance tasks
Duration
- The client’s aim is to appoint this person into a permanent role after a successful trial period. Possible Temp-to-Perm duration of just 3 months.
Hours
- Regular Day shifts
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (minus an hour for breaks) = 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
