Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with experience in the FMCG industry, to ensure the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical machinery to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of electrical systems.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements to electrical systems and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Electrical or Engineering Maintenance qualification
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the FMCG industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse complex electrical problems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs & VSDs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
