We are representing a hugely innovative manufacturing organisation who are at the forefront of their specialist field, whilst continuing their growth through the diversification into other developing markets around sustainable and environmentally friendly products.

Established 30 + years, they’re stable and not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award -winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire

They now seek to recruit an ambitious Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team assisting the Quality Manager over two manufacturing sites in the implementation of a new quality management system, whilst helping to maintain current ISO accreditations, further developing a culture of quality improvement, facilitating root cause problem solving activity and identifying new areas for continuous improvement.

Key skills

  • Previous experience in a quality engineering role, or maybe you’re an ambitious quality inspector or quality technician looking for a career progression opportunity
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • Previous experience in quality within a manufacturing setting – assembled product
  • Proven achievements in implementing and sustaining the utilisation of root cause analysis techniques for problem solving
  • Some problem solving experience using tools such as 8D, 5Y, FMEA, Six Sigma
  • Ideally internal auditor trained
  • Strong communication and presentation/reporting skills
  • Ability to engage, influence and coach others in best practice quality approaches

As this role is based over two sites in East Lancs (though close together), a driving licence and own vehicle will be a prerequisite
