Operating in a clean, well-equipped precision machining environment.
Within the factory unit there are over 20 CNC Turning centres and 10 Cam Auto's providing huge capacity for bar turning up to 75mm and 250mm billet chucking.

With CNC machines incorporating the latest technology such as Citizen Twin Spindle Triple Turret Miyano turning centres, Index Twin Spindle Twin Turret G200 machine tools, and a range of Citizen Miyano Sliding Head machine tools. This provides the customer and company a complete and versatile approach to any component manufacture that may be required, coupled with having an in-house tool room to produce cams, jigs & fixtures and tooling.

Job Profile
This state of the art, subcontract manufacturer of precision, machined parts and components are looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head machine Programmer Setter Operator due to continued growth and expansion, as well as covering retirement, so are always on the look for skilled talent.

Duties:

• CNC Turning on CNC Sliding Head machine tools.
• Programming Setting and Operating CNC Sliding Heads with Fanuc controls (Citizen or Star experience).
• Working from engineering drawings, producing components from various materials such as Steels, Ali, Titanium, Duplex, Super Duplex, and Inconel.
• Batch sizes range from 100s off to 1000s off depending on the customers' needs.

Skills & Attributes:

• Must have experience of working on CNC Sliding Head lathes.
• Able to program set and operate CNC Sliding Head lathes and produce components from engineering drawings.

Hours of Work:

• 40hrs per week
• 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm weekly rotating
• Night shift available if preferred with a shift premium of 25% increase on salary.
• Overtime available with overtime rate premium.
