We are currently looking to support our client – a leading UK solutions provider operating across the natural gas, petrochemical, biomethane and decarbonisation sectors.
They are looking for an Instrumentation Pipefitter to join their team on a permanent staff basis - full-time hours role working Monday-Friday 8am – 4.30pm. The role will require up to 75% of time spent working on site with the remainder spent at their custom built, modern workshop facility in Staffordshire. Overnight stays may be required in the week but there will be no weekend working.
A full description is given below but candidates should have at least 2 years working experience with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Oil and gas project experience would be beneficial but is not essential for CV submissions. A starting salary figure of 37.5K per annum is on offer but with overtime, uplifts, and other bonuses available, actual earnings could potentially exceed 60K per annum. Instrumentation Pipefitter - Primary Duties:
•    Bend small-bore tube
•    Follow schematics provided by Engineering department to install pipework into kiosks
•    Conduct installation work on client sites
•    Work to company standards
•    Comply with Health & Safety regulations plus company rules and regulations at all times
 
Instrumentation Pipefitter - Secondary Duties:
•    Attend relevant courses in order to broaden your knowledge and skill set
 
Instrumentation Pipefitter - Essential Skills:
•    City and Guilds Basic Engineering competence
•    City and Guilds Engineering Systems Maintenance
•    Flexibility to travel and stay over throughout the UK whilst working on client sites
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to work alone and in a team
•    Full, clean driving licence and own transport
 
Instrumentation Pipefitter - Desirable Skills:
•    Previous gas/oil industry experience
•    Swagelok Installation Course
•    TSBT01/02 (Small bore installation course)
•    Previous National Grid experience
•    EUSR Gas Safety Passport
•    SCO91
•    Previous pressure testing experience
