Embark on a rewarding journey in the realm of mechanical maintenance engineering with a prominent role situated in the heart of Dronfield, Derbyshire. This position offers an attractive salary of £46,000 per annum, reflecting the significance and value of the role within the company's operations.

The alternating work pattern consists of 12-hour days. Week 1 comprises a 5-day work schedule, followed by a more relaxed 2-day work schedule in Week 2.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical malfunctions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to improve machine reliability and performance.
  • Documenting maintenance procedures and outcomes.


To excel in this role, the following skills and experience are required:

  • An NVQ Level 3 qualification, with an apprenticeship background.
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment
  • A solid understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
