Role – Chartered Landscape Architect
Location – Cardiff

A Leading Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy who have a reputation for their Landscape Architecture services in the creation of beautiful and compelling designs are looking for a Chartered Landscape Architect for their established design team in South Wales.

The primary requirement is for a Chartered Landscape Architect to be working on and project managing a range of strategic and design projects (RIBA Stages 0-7). The services the company provide range from Masterplanning, urban regeneration, strategic planning, design concept through to detail and implementation as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA.

CHARTERED LANDSCAPE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attending meetings / site visits
  • Developing relationships with clients
  • Working collaboratively with design teams, planning authorities and other stakeholders
  • Managing / mentoring members of the landscape team
  • Some knowledge of landscape and visual assessment would be beneficial

CHARTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • A Chartered membership of The Landscape Institute (CMLI)
  • Experience in working on projects in the UK and understanding of UK Legislation
  • Proven experience as a Project Leader
  • Excellent design skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
  • Good client relationship and business development capability
  • Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
  • Excellent CAD skills in Revit, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks or AutoCAD
  • Experience across all the RIBA workstages 0-7
  • Excellent graphic skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Excellent report writing skills using Adobe InDesign
  • Ability to mentor and support other members of the team
  • A full driving licence is essential
