We are currently looking for a Technical Writer/Document Controller for one of our clients in Burton on Trent.
The client is a market-leading manufacturer of specialist equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering and aerospace.
Due to the specialist nature of the products the work is both interesting and varied and will involve working on large design and build projects as part of the project team ensuring that project documentation is proofread and verified prior to sending out or being used.
It will also include liaising with the other members of the project team as well as other in-house staff (both shop floor and office), subcontractors, suppliers and clients in order to ensure that that the relevant documentation is correct and completed on time.
The successful candidate will have some experience of working within an engineering environment ideally within multi-disciplinary project teams and will qualified to in an engineering and/or management discipline.
Applicants must have experience of document control and the verification of technical documents
Previous experience of working in the design and build of large scale machines would be an advantage but is not essential
