The company

Our client, a prestigious food processing and manufacturing business located near Glasgow wish to appoint an inspirational Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team.  As a long established business with a reputation for providing great quality to food service and retail customers, our client goes from strength to strength.

The role

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance of site machinery, equipment and systems to minimise downtime, optimise performance and maximise safety. Assist the Engineering Manager with the maintenance strategy to achieve site and business goals including proactive maintenance. Ensure work orders are completed to a high standard within the required time scale. Drive completion of PPM work in accordance with the monthly schedule. Maintain high standards of good manufacturing practice.

The person

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a multi skilled engineering and fault-finding role, experience within a food or FMCG background would be advantageous, ‘right first time’ approach, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills and you will ideally be electrically bias.
