I have been exclusively retained by one of my top clients to search for an Associate / Associate Director level civil engineer to help develop the existing highways and infrastructure team with the support of the Directors. You will be joining a team of hard-working, passionate individuals and a business with a flexible structure which enables you to shape your own future. They work with a range of private sector and local authority clients on some large and exciting projects. My client is a dynamic, forward-thinking business who will give you the best opportunity possible to climb up the ranks. They are looking for someone with a ‘growth mindset’ who has the drive to grow and develop a team.
Responsibilities?
- You will be undertaking strategic development planning and detailed design work specialising in providing highways, drainage and development infrastructure advice
- Leading and coordinating detailed design and implementing into projects during the construction phase
- Support the wider team’s financial and commercial management through robust project delivery
- Manage project resources and delegate tasks accordingly, with input to mentoring junior staff.
What are they looking for?
- Well versed in the preparation of drawings for Contract Documents and S104, S106, S185, S38, S98, S278 Agreements
- You will have knowledge of the legal processes, planning, design, design software, technical consents process, adoption and contract procedures for the provision of drainage schemes
- You will have a proven record in Client care/business development
