Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer ( Days Only )
Salary: £43,000 per annum + AP Bonus
Location: New Cross, Southeast London
Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off days only shift – 7am to 7pm (42hr week)

Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, LTHW (Low-Temperature Hot Water), HTHW (High-Temperature Hot Water), VAV's (Variable Air Volume), CCU's (Chilled Ceiling Units), and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) units.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize system performance.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent practical qualification in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing)
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, LTHW, HTHW, VAV's, CCU's, and HVAC units.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
