Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Technician to join our team. As a Civil Technician, you will be responsible for designing and planning construction projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. Duties:

- Design and develop engineering plans using software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage/Flow, and AutoCAD

- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project feasibility studies

- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met

- Perform calculations using software such as Mathcad to analyse structural integrity and stability

- Conduct inspections of completed projects to ensure quality control

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Aspirations to become Chartered

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices

- Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage/Flow, AutoCAD, and CAD

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
