£30,000 - £35,000/annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Technician to join our team. As a Civil Technician, you will be responsible for designing and planning construction projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects. If you have a strong background in civil engineering and are passionate about creating innovative solutions, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Design and develop engineering plans using software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage/Flow, and AutoCAD

- Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project feasibility studies

- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules

- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met

- Perform calculations using software such as Mathcad to analyse structural integrity and stability

- Conduct inspections of completed projects to ensure quality control

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Aspirations to become Chartered

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices

- Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage/Flow, AutoCAD, and CAD

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
