Exciting Job Opportunity for a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator on a permanent Back Shift
Are you a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator looking for your next challenge? Our client, a top-tier precision engineering firm, is on the lookout for talented engineers to join their team. The shift timings are from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly program, set, and operate CNC milling machines and/or lathes.
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Select appropriate tools and fixtures for each task.
- Monitor machine performance closely and make necessary adjustments.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure machines are in optimal condition.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in CNC milling or turning.
- Strong command of programming using G codes in Fanuc.
- Ideally, candidates will be time served, or possess proven experience and relevant qualifications.
- Experience working with exotic materials such as Inconel is highly desirable.
Benefits:
- Competitive starting pay ranging from £18.00 to £20.30 per hour based on experience.
- Overtime compensated at 33%.
- Lucrative bonus scheme in addition to the base salary, with potential on-target earnings exceeding £48,000 per year before overtime.
