Responsibilities:

  • Innovate sustainable mechanical systems, setting new standards in energy efficiency.
  • Lead the charge in analysing building physics, optimising project performance.
  • Drive design excellence through meticulous calculations and precision in drawings.
  • Collaborate with specialists to seamlessly integrate systems, ensuring harmony in design.
  • Take ownership from start to finish, overseeing commissioning and mentoring emerging engineers.
  • Foster valuable connections with architects and clients, contributing to the company's expansion and success
     

Requirements:
The desired candidate should possess the following qualifications and abilities:
 

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively pursuing membership in a professional institution, with dedicated mentorship available for those on the path to CEng status.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Mechanical Building Services role.
  • A degree (BEng/MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical qualifications.
  • Proficiency in working on sustainable and low carbon projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to addressing the climate emergency.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit, with additional experience in software such as IES, PHPP, and SAP considered advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork skills, both within internal teams and external collaborations.
  • Motivated, practical, independent, and enthusiastic approach to work
