Right now, due to our continued growth, we are looking for an Engineering Manager, to join our growing Pre-Development Team on a permanent basis out of our offices in Coxheath, Kent.

About The Role…

As Engineering Manager, you will advise on engineering aspects of proposed site developments at Land acquisition, Planning, Design, Procurement and Construction stage, including foul and stormwater drainage strategy, flood risk, levels, highway access, and all structural proposals.

You’ll be tasked with proposing, reviewing and advising on drainage, earth works, and infrastructure, strategy, assisting in the selection of Civil & Structural consultants and external consultants, attending site inspections, advising internal departments on engineering related matters. You’ll be responsible for ensuring required construction standards are being met and to advise on the rectification of infrastructure and structural defects during the construction process and, fully managing design procurement and construction interface of major infrastructure projects.

You will have an excellent understanding of legislative framework relevant to engineering aspects of residential development, such as the Water Industry Act, Highway Act, S38, S104, S278 Agreements. Along with ability to deliver these agreements to suit the project programme and achieve sign off and financial recovery following completion.
