Due to the continued business growth, we are looking for a Senior Workshop Engineer to support the Workshop Foreman and Semi-Skilled Engineers within the workshop. 

The day to day role will include but not limited to: 

• Servicing and Preventative Maintenance work on IC powered and Electric powered equipment 

• Carry out diagnosis and subsequent repair work to both customers own and company owned equipment which varies across all Material Handling Equipment. 

• Thorough Examination Inspections 

• Carry out Quality Inspections on fleet prior to despatch for hire 

• Assisting workshop engineers when required 

• Holiday cover for Workshop Foreman 

As a senior engineer, you will have gained experience from a similar role and will have in-depth knowledge of Material Handling Equipment. You will be required to have the following skills and knowledge: 

• Experience in a similar role 

• Experience in Hydraulics and Electrical equipment 

• A full driving licence 

• To be able to work as part of a team and off own initiative 

• To be able to support semi-skilled engineers effectively 

• Maintain strong communications, liaising in a clear, concise and professional manner 

• A competent tool kit

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime options on Saturdays subject to workload

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
