JRS Associates Ltd has partnered up with an exciting manufacturer in the local area and we're looking to add an experienced Chief Inspector to the team. 

The position comes due to a consistent intake of healthy, long-standing contracts meaning a need for an experienced precision engineer... see below for a detailed description of the role package and specifications of the Chief Inspector required. 

The Successful Chief Inspector - Package:

• £17.68 to £19.20 per hour (£35,855 to £38,937 per annum)
• Permanent Days Shift (07:30 - 16:30, Mon - Thu & 0730 - 1230 Fri)
• Overtime available paid at 1.5x
• Holiday entitlement - 33 days (including statutory)

The Successful Chief Inspector - Requirements:

• Experience working within precision engineering (Aerospace and/or Nuclear industry)

• Has the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and understand First Principal measurement

• 5 or more years of Inspection experience 

• Team Leader or Supervisory Experience of more than 2 years

• Experience Programming CMM Machinery (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS preferred)

• Trained in the use of applicable Quality Tools

• Has knowledge of First Article Inspection to AS9102

• Has the ability to perform Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies
