Are you an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Team Leader seeking a thrilling new challenge? Join a dynamic organisation located near Bracknell and take charge of a team of 3 Engineers, overseeing the seamless coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing elements across their site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Lead and inspire the M&E team to excellence.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, managing RAMS, and overseeing contractors' compliance.
  • Financial Oversight: Raise orders within budget constraints, plan project budgets, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Operational Excellence: Agree on efficient shift patterns and conduct regular site inspections to address faults promptly.
  • System Integrity: Undertake regular tests of alarms and systems, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
  • Procurement: Take charge of material, tool, and service provider procurement for maintenance tasks.
  • Project Supervision: Plan and supervise M&E projects to successful completion.
  • Availability: Provide out-of-hours call support on a 1 in 4 week basis.
  • Reporting: Produce weekly reports, planners, and sign off on completed projects.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Formal Qualifications: Recognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City and Guilds or equivalent).
  • Professional Background: Extensive experience as a building service engineer.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Health & Safety, Electrical at Work regulations, and COSHH requirements.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading and managing a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Computer literate.
