Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £36k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading and successful Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company with a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and enthusiastic Legionella Risk Assessor to join their longstanding team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene industry, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites. This role would suit a candidate who has experience or is looking to expand their experience into carrying out risk assessments on complex process systems / cooling towers. Our client can offer the successful candidate a competitive basic salary, and opportunities to train into water chemistry and the use of test kits.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coalville, Burton Upon Trent, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Warwick, Solihull, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Derby, Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Corby.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working as a Risk Assessor within an established Water Treatment / Legionella company.
" Experience carrying out risk assessments on process systems and cooling towers would be beneficial to the role.
" Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g. City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Detailed knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to produce detailed reports.
" Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs.
The Role:
" Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
" Carrying out technical risk assessments on process systems and cooling towers.
" Providing clients with detailed reports, highlighting findings and providing clients with advice based on risk assessment findings.
" Producing legionella management plans for clients, ensuring that actions are carried out.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing advice and support.
" Working from and producing detailed schematic drawings.
