Trigo are seeking Quality Technicians on a permanent basis for our client, a 1st Tier Automotive Supplier based nr. Solihull.
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
Drive internal and external quality issues
Ensure working & master samples are valid and available for production
Issue and monitor Quality Alerts and ensure they are being adhered to
Initiate temporary/permanent fix to quality problems
Ensure audits on product have been conducted
Assist customer for concerns on shift
Visit customer when required
Support line trials
Global 8D reporting – using multifunctional team support
Support operations and production 1st – off procedure
The ideal candidate will be preferably qualified to ONC (or equivalent) in Q/C Techniques with a working knowledge of FMEA’s and control plans •
You will have an understanding of IATF16949, ISO 9001 quality standards as well as Process & Product Audit experience
An APQP understanding with the ability to understand engineering drawings
A good communicator at all levels within the business
PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Project
Knowledge of Paint, Plastic and Assembly high volume processes
